
Dr Silberstein
Dr Silberstein joins Lake Imaging with extensive experience, graduating from Monash University (Medicine) in 1984 and trained in Radiology at the Austin Hospital 1987-1990.
Dr Silberstein has an impressive academic record with the following awards:
- F.J. O’Rourke Fellowship (Austin Hospital) 1991
- Edith & Viola Reid Scholarship 1991
- Sophie Davis Gold Medal 1984
Dr Silberstein’s special interests include:
All aspects of Diagnostic and General Interventional Radiology practice.
Pain Management: Clinical, Research, Imaging & Intervention. Cutaneous neurophysiology.
Dr Silberstein has completed several Fellowships both locally and abroad, mainly with a focus on pain management.
Dr Silberstein has enjoyed a variety of different roles in his career including:
- Program Adviser, NPS MedicineWise & Choosing Wisely: Providing ministerial advice on Medicare schedule and liaising with community stakeholders.
- Advisor to AHPRA.
- Advisor to the Federal Minister of Health.
Dr Silberstein has been accredited in more than 50 peer-reviewed publications.
