The Lake Imaging executive leadership team comprises the General Manager, Local Regional Managers, IT Manager, Risk & Compliance Manager, Operations Manager, Marketing Manager and Clinical Directors.

All are experts in their fields and have extensive management and medical industry experience.

Accreditations and memberships

Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology – RANZCR

In Australia, doctors who want to become radiologists study through the fellowship-based organisation the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology (RANZCR), which provides world-standard education, training and assessment programs in radiology. The College sets, promotes and continuously improves the standards of training and practice in radiology across Australia and New Zealand.

Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia – MRPBA

All radiographers and nuclear medicine technologists working at Lake Imaging are registered with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia – one of ten national boards that form the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme, which works to protect the public and guide health professionals.

Under the National Law, health professionals must meet nationally consistent registration standards and hold recognised qualifications, in order to work in Australia. Each profession upholds at least five mandatory standards that ensure staff maintain continuing professional development, have no criminal history, meet English language requirements, hold professional indemnity insurance and have adequate, recent work experience.

Australian Institute of Radiography – AIR

As the peak body representing radiographers, the Australian Institute of Radiography (AIR) promotes, encourages and maintains best practice and proficiency for medical radiation science in Australia.

The AIR organises education events, scientific and political discussion and consultation for its members. Undergraduate radiography course providers must meet AIR minimum standards of competency in practice. The AIR encourages provides opportunities for continuing professional development through education.

Australian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine – ASUM

All sonographers working at Lake Imaging are Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) accredited sonographers or student sonographers, who have met the minimum requirements for admission.

Many of our sonographers belong to either the Australian Sonographers Association (ASA) or the Australian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM). As professional members, staff are kept informed about issues affecting ultrasound imaging and have access to advanced education events, research, case studies and discussion forums.
