New Location, Expanded Services, Same Trusted Local Team

Wangaratta X-Ray will move to a new purpose-built facility at 6 Green Street, Wangaratta on 31 March 2026, reopening as Lake Imaging Wangaratta.

The new clinic represents a significant investment in diagnostic imaging for the Wangaratta community and will introduce MRI and Bone Densitometry, services that have not previously been available locally.

Importantly, while the clinic will have a new name and location, the local team remains the same. The radiographers, sonographers, radiologists and support staff who have cared for patients at Wangaratta X-Ray will continue providing services at the new Lake Imaging clinic.

Patients and referrers will benefit from expanded services and a purpose-built facility designed specifically for modern medical imaging.

Expanded imaging services, closer to home

For the first time, MRI and Bone Densitometry will be available locally in Wangaratta. These new services mean many patients will no longer need to travel outside the region for advanced imaging, improving access to timely diagnosis and ongoing care.
Existing services will continue, supported by modern equipment and a purpose-built clinical environment.
