World Osteoporosis Day – Thursday 20th October

In support of World Osteoporosis Day today, we encourage everyone to think about their bone health.

Osteoporosis affects 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men aged 50+ worldwide. It is a condition that weakens your bone health, making you more susceptible to fractures. For anyone with risk factors or over the age of 70, visit your GP to determine if a bone densitometry (DEXA) scan is suitable for you.
